Official Examination Center
Trinity College London is an international examinations board fully accredited in the United Kingdom as as independent awarding body.
Trinity provides accredited qualifications in English language, music and the performing and creative arts throughout the World. Sono utilizzabili in ambito professionale ed accademico, sono riconosciute a livello internazionale e non hanno una scadenza formale.
We are a registered examination centre (N° 27809) for Trinity College London ESOL exams.
There are 12 grades altogether which are linked to the Common European Framework of Reference. The exams encourage students to develop and progress by acknowledging each step forward; at every stage of the students' development there is a chance to mark success.
There are four stages with three grades at each stage:
• Initial (Grades 1-3)
• Elementary (Grades 4-6)
• Intermediate (Grades 7-9)
• Advanced (Grades 10-12)
With 12 grades available, there is a grade to suit every candidate. The assessment is a balance between fluency and accuracy. Examiners are interested in finding out what candidates really can do.

Robert's School of English is an Cambridge ESOL Official Preparation Centre.
There are five Cambridge ESOL exams to choose from. Below you find a brief description of each.
Key English Test (KET)
An elementary exam, at Cambridge ESOL level 1 (Council of Europe level A2), which can be achieved after approximately 180-200 hours of learning and is about halfway to PET. It tests most basic communication needed in everyday situations and is suitable for students aged thirteen and over.
Preliminary English Test (PET)
The Cambridge ESOL level 2 exam (Council of Europe level B1) tests language ability at lower-intermediate level (after approximately 375 hours of study) and is about two-thirds of the way to the very popular FCE.
First Certificate in English (FCE)
The Cambridge ESOL level 3 (Council of Europe level B2) is at the upper-intermediate or "independent user" level. FCE is the most widely taken exam and has the most widespread recognition.
It is taken for employment and study purposes.
Certificate of Advanced English (CAE)
The Cambridge ESOL level 4 (Council of Europe C1) offers a lower-advanced language qualifications for those who need to use English in their jobs. It is mostly taken by university students and young professionals. May universities recognise CAE as an English language entry.
Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)
A top grade in this exam (Council of Europe level C2) certifies that the candidate has near native speaker ability. As such is fulfils entry requirements in English language by British universities and many universities in other English speaking Countries and by other professional bodies.
Preparation Centre
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) measures the language proficiency of people who want to study or work where English is used as a language of communication.
Robert's School of English is an IELTS Preparation Centre.
It uses a nine-band scale to clearly identify levels of proficiency, from non-user (band score 1) through to expert (band score 9).
The two versions of the test:
IELTS Academic
The IELTS Academic is tailored for people applying for higher education or professional registration. This test is suitable for entry to study at undergraduate or postgratuate levels, and also for professional registration purposes. It assess whether you are ready to begin studying or training in an environment where English language is used, and reflects some of the features of language used in academic study.
IELTS General Training
The IELTS General Training is for those migrating to Australia, Canada ad the UK, or applying for secondary education, training programmes and work experience in an English-speaking environment.
This test is suitable for those applying to train or study at below degree level, as well as those wishing to migrate to Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK.
It focuses on basic survival skills in broad social and workplace contexts.
