EU GDPR Privacy Policy for Website Visitors
On the following page you will find all the information useful to understand the purposes and methods of processing of your personal data as a visitor, as well as all other information required by art. 13 and 14 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”).
This Policy only applies to this Site and does not apply to other websites, portals, sections/pages/spaces connected by links, owned by third parties, for which please refer to their respective policies.
1. Who is the Data Controller?

Mancini n.156, 87100 (hereinafter, “Roberts School of English”) in the person of its legal representative Prof. Roberto Moliterno and can be contacted by email at info@robert.school.
2. What types of information do we process and how long do we store it?
a) Navigation data
The computer systems and software procedures responsible for the operation of this site acquire, during normal operation and for the sole duration of the connection, some data that are then transmitted implicitly in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected for the purpose of associating it with users, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow them to be identified. These data are deleted a few hours after processing.
b) Cookies
This site uses cookies, or markers, which are pieces of information sent by a web server (in this case, this site) to a user’s browser, stored by the user on his or her device (computer, tablet, mobile phone, etc.), and automatically sent back to the server each time the site is accessed. c) Information voluntarily provided by users/visitors
If you choose to provide personal information (first name, last name, email address, phone number, curriculum vitae) when you connect to this site to send us email inquiries, apply for one of our job opportunities, or request information and/or our corporate brochure, Roberts School of English will process that information to respond to your request, i.e., to provide you with the service you have requested in accordance with this policy. The data will be kept for as long as necessary to provide the requested service and to deal with any disputes. Your personal information will only be disclosed to third parties when necessary to fulfill your requests. You will not be asked for health data and, in general, special categories of personal data referred to in Article 9 of the GDPR (sensitive, biometric, genetic and criminal).
3. How is your information processed?
Your data will be processed using computer and telematic means and will be protected by appropriate security measures in order to guarantee its confidentiality and integrity. In particular, Roberts School of English has adopted and maintains appropriate organizational (distribution of roles and responsibilities in the execution of the activity and controls), procedural and technical (firewalls, antivirus and other advanced technologies) measures to protect your data against loss, theft and unauthorized use, disclosure or modification.
Roberts School of English also states that no personal information is or will be stored on the website and that it has enabled an encrypted connection through an SSL certificate to use the HTTPS protocol, thus ensuring a secure and private connection between the server where the website is hosted and the visitor’s browser.
4. What is the purpose and legal basis of the processing?
Roberts School of English processes your anonymous browsing data in 2.a to monitor the technical operation and performance of the site, to understand how to improve the services and to develop them.
This information is necessary to ensure the delivery of the site. The data in point 2.b is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information about the use of the site and to check its correct functioning (they are therefore necessary to ensure the delivery of the site), as further explained in our Cookie Policy.
5. With whom may your information be shared?
The anonymous information referred to in 2.a and 2.b may be disclosed to partners and suppliers who assist Roberts School of English in providing the services on this site. Where Roberts School of English discloses your personal information to third parties (for example, to provide the services you have requested), they will either act as their own data controllers or be appointed by Roberts School of English as data processors. You may request an updated list of these data processors by sending an email to info@robert.school. In addition, your information may be disclosed to persons, entities or authorities to whom disclosure is required by law.
6. What are your rights?
You can, at any time and for free:
– obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of data concerning you and their communication
– to know the origin of the data, the purposes and methods of processing, as well as the logic applied to processing carried out with the aid of electronic instruments
– request the updating, rectification or, if interested, the integration of the data
– the cancellation, transformation into an anonymous form or blocking of the data, as well as the opposition, for legitimate reasons, to their processing
– oppose, in whole or in part, the processing of your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing, whether by automated and/or traditional means.
In addition, the Privacy Regulation has introduced new rights that you can exercise, namely
– Withdraw your consent to the processing of your data at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given prior to the withdrawal.
– request the restriction of the processing of your personal data if (i) you dispute the accuracy of the personal data, for the period necessary to verify the accuracy of such personal data; (ii) the processing is unlawful, but you object to the deletion of the personal data and request instead that the use be restricted; (iii) although Roberts School of English no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of processing, the personal data are necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of a legal claim; (iv) you object to the processing pursuant to Art. 21(1) of the Privacy Regulation, pending verification that the data controller’s legitimate reasons outweigh yours
– object at any time to the processing of personal data for purposes of legitimate interest
– obtain the portability of your personal data (where applicable)
– lodge a complaint with the data protection authority if the conditions are met.

7. Age Restrictions.
The services provided by Roberts School of English are available to children under the age of 18 with the written consent of their parents or legal representative. We knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 18 who take our English language courses. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 18 has provided us with personally identifiable information without the consent of a parent or legal guardian, please contact us. We will take reasonable steps to investigate and, if it is confirmed that we have personally identifiable information about a child under the age of 18, we will delete that information. We may request additional information to confirm that the request is bona fide.

This Policy may change over time – including in connection with the possible adoption of new industry regulations, the updating or provision of new services, or as a result of technological innovations – so we encourage you to review this page periodically.
